Marous
The unique terroir of the proprietary, organic vineyards and their controlled production contribute to the proper maturation and the high quality of the grapes. The Goutsidis winery selects and produces inspired combinations of indigenous and international grape varieties, thus creating wines full of character. The production of this exceptional wine follows the traditional method of vinification, which imposes that grapes of the Xino Mavroudi variety are hand-harvested and then left to ferment in open oak barrels. The maturation takes place in small French oak (from the Troncais forest) barrels for 12 months. The result is an extremely fine, ruby red colored, well balanced wine with solid tannins and aromas of blackcurrant, cherry and vanilla.
