The unique terroir of the proprietary, organic vineyards and their controlled production contribute to the proper maturation and the high quality of the grapes. The Goutsidis winery selects and produces inspired combinations of indigenous and international grape varieties, thus creating wines full of character. Epillio is an astonishing wine, resulting from the blend between Mavroudi and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties. The process of maturation and aging involves the placement of the wine in French oak barrels for 12 months and then for an additional year in the bottle. The result is a wine of ruby red color, full body with a refined and well balanced flavor. Sweet aromas of chocolate, vanilla and tobacco are youthful and vibrant.
